A brief analysis of the performance of traditional Chinese cultural elements in “Kung Fu Panda 3”(Supervised by Liu Hai Bo) This study analyzes the expression and cultural significance of traditional Chinese cultural elements in the animated film Kung Fu Panda 3. Through the analysis of character formation, storyline, scene design, dialogue and soundtrack in the film, it reveals how the film conveys the core values and philosophical thoughts of traditional Chinese culture. Kung Fu Panda 3 successfully integrates the specific characteristics and values of traditional Chinese culture into the creation of the film image, and displays the charm of traditional Chinese culture through the all-round character and design creation, bringing profound visual and auditory experience to the audience.Traditional Chinese cultural elements in the film, such as Taoist and Confucian values, the emphasis on interpersonal relationships and the spirit of interactions between Po the panda and the other characters. Po's growth not only advocating wisdom and pursuing peace, are perfectly reflected through the demonstrates the importance of courage, determination and wisdom in traditional Chinese culture, but also highlights the core values of benevolence, righteousness, loyalty and filial piety in the Chinese chivalry spirit. The scenes and soundtrack of the film also vividly show the unique characteristics of traditional Chinese culture, such as traditional Chinese architecture and visual images, as well as the sound effects of traditional Chinese Musical Instruments, adding to the charm of Oriental culture.In addition, this study uses qualitative research methods to analyze the traditional Chinese cultural elements in animation. This study adopts Peirce's semiotic theory and image analysis method. In other words, by gathering information and then examining how viewers, objects and symbols are interpreted. According to the research, the Panda 3, the semiotic theory is used to analyze the expression forms and cultural film's traditional Chinese cultural elements serve a dual purpose: they are both auditory and visually pleasing, but they are also rich in cultural significance, helping to preserve and pass on traditional Chinese culture, to promote pride and identity in one's own cultural traditions and to increase public understanding of these practices.This study aims to analyze the traditional Chinese cultural elements in Kung Fu Panda 3, explore the expression forms and cultural significance of the film, and provide references for traditional cultural inheritance and animation film production.
