Abstract (Abstrak)
The quality of a product is said to be quality not when the product is produced but when it is processed. So that the industry can make improvements and determine whether the product/service quality characteristics are still within the limits that customers can tolerate. A control chart is one of the techniques used in process control. Multivariate control charts are used to monitor multiple quality characteristics at the same time. MEWMA and MCUSUM are multivariate control charts that can monitor the mean process. When the two control charts are compared to the performance of the ARL, the MEWMA control chart has a lower ARL value than the MCUSUM control chart, so the MEWMA control chart is used to monitor the mean process of Tirta Jeneberang Water quality. Based on the monitoring results, it was determined that the data started to be statistically controlled at a weight of 0.8 and a UCL of 10.58 for both phases. This demonstrates that in the absence of out of control data, the weighting of 0.8 is the most effective in detecting the mean process. Furthermore, the CP value obtained in a multivariate manner for process capability results is greater than 1, indicating that the water production process of PDAM Tirta Jeneberang Gowa Regency is capable or effective.
