Abstract (Abstrak)
Sexual dysfunction is a condition where a person experiences
difficulty in carrying out sexual activities which can be caused by physical and psychological factors. Libido disorders are a common disorder experienced by sufferers of sexual dysfunction with a prevalence rate of around 20% in Indonesia. Sanrego (Lunasia amara Blanco) is a medicinal plant that contains the alkaloid compound lemrin which has the potential to be an aphrodisiac which can increase blood flow and have smooth muscle
relaxation properties. As well as steroid compounds that show hormonal activity, namely androgenic hormones. This study aims to see the effect of administering Sanrego ethyl acetate soluble fraction on increasing sexual libido based on mating behavior patterns in male white rats. Based on the TLC results, the ethyl acetate soluble fraction of Sanrego lignum was positive for alkaloid and steroid compounds. The group of animals given the soluble fraction of Sanrego stem ethyl acetate at a dose of 100
mg/kgBW showed optimal results compared to other animal groups. Giving Sanrego stem fraction can increase the frequency and shorten the introduction, mounting and intromission time, as well as slow down the ejaculation time
