ABSTRAK
A. AISYAH AMALIA. Efektifitas Pembelajaran Secara Asinkron dan Sinkron Pada Mahasiswa Pascasarjana Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (dibimbing Muhammad Farid dan Alem Febri Sonni)
Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran secara sinkron dan asinkron pada mahasiswa pascasarjana Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Hasanuddin, (2) mengetahui apa saja faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap efektifitas pembelajaran daring bagi dosen
Penelitian ini dilakukan di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Hasanuddin bagi mahasiswa dan dosen yang mengikuti pembelajaran daring selama pandemi yang berjumlah 573 mahasiswa yang terdiri Angkatan 2019-2022 dan yang diperoleh dari pengambilan sampel secara probability sampling dengan metode simple random sampling. Data dianalisis melalui Epic Model untuk mengukur efektivitas pembelajaran yang meliputi empati,persuasi, dampak dan komunikasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) pembelajaran jarak jauh secara asinkron dan sinkron pada mahasiswa pascasarjana Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Hasanuddin selama masa pademi covid-19 termasuk dalam kategori efektivitas dan pembelajaran secara asinkron dan sinkron memiliki perbedaan dalam hal dimensi, dimana PJJ asinkron dimensi komunikasi yang paling efektif. Sedangkan dalam PJJ sinkron dimensi yang paling efektif adalah dimensi empat (2) faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh bagi pembelajaran daring bagi dosen di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik ialah pembelajaran bisa dilakukan dimana saja tetapi banyak juga yang mengeluh terkait pembelajaran daring dimana mahasiswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kurang interaktif saat mengikuti pembelajaran.

This study aims to (1) determine the effectiveness of synchronous and asynchronous learning in postgraduate students of Social and Political Sciences, Hasanuddin University, (2) find out what are the factors that influence the effectiveness of online learning for lecturers
This research was conducted at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Hasanuddin University for students and lecturers who took part in online learning during the pandemic, totaling 573 students consisting of the 2019-2022 class and those obtained from sampling by probability sampling with simple random sampling method. Data were analyzed through the Epic Model to measure the effectiveness of learning which includes empathy, persuasion, impact and communication.
The results showed (1) asynchronous and synchronous distance learning for postgraduate students in Social and Political Sciences, Hasanuddin University during the covid-19 pandemic, was included in the category of effectiveness and asynchronous and synchronous learning had differences in dimensions, where asynchronous PJJ communication dimensions the most effective. While in synchronous PJJ the most effective dimension is dimension four (2) the factors that influence online learning for lecturers at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences is that learning can be done anywhere but many also complain about online learning where students take part in learning less interactive when participating in learning.
