Abstract (Abstrak)
NUR KURNIAWATI MUHAISYAH. The Effect of Antarpribadi Communication Effectiveness on Work Motivation of Members of the Da'wah Institute, Faculty of Hasanuddin University (Supervised by Sudirman Karnay and Tuti Bahfiarti).
The aims of this study were: (1) to analyze the level of effectiveness of interpersonal communication among members of the da'wah institution at the Hasanuddin University faculty; (2) to analyze the work motivation of members of the da'wah institution of the Hasanuddin University faculty; (3) to analyze the effect of the effectiveness of interpersonal communication on the work motivation of members of the da'wah institution at the Hasanuddin University faculty.
This research was conducted at Hasanuddin University. The population of this research is all members of the organization who are members of the da'wah institution of the Hasanuddin University faculty. Respondents were determined by stratified random sampling. Primary data was collected using a questionnaire and secondary data were obtained from the literature study. The data that has been collected is then presented in the form of a frequency table and linear regression analysis using SPSS 28.
The results show that the effectiveness of interpersonal communication positively influences the work motivation of members of the da'wah institution at the Hasanuddin University faculty. A positive relationship means that the more effective interpersonal communication is, the more work motivation will increase, on the other hand, if the effectiveness of interpersonal communication is weak, the level of work motivation will also decrease. While the coefficient of determination of 43.5% indicates that the role or contribution of the effectiveness of interpersonal communication to work motivation is 43.5%.
