Abstract (Abstrak)

Pemanasan global yang terus meningkat mendorong perlunya penerapan konsep bangunan hemat energi, khususnya pada bangunan fasilitas kesehatan yang beroperasi hampir sepanjang waktu dan memiliki konsumsi energi yang tinggi. Bangunan klinik umumnya membutuhkan energi besar untuk sistem pendinginan udara, yang tidak hanya berdampak pada biaya operasional, tetapi juga berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan emisi karbon. Klinik Politeknik Penerbangan Makassar merupakan salah satu fasilitas kesehatan di Kabupaten Maros yang memiliki tingkat konsumsi energi operasional yang cukup tinggi, terutama pada penggunaan sistem pendingin udara konvensional. Di sisi lain, Kabupaten Maros masih menghadapi keterbatasan Fasilitas Kesehatan Tingkat Lanjut (FKTL), sehingga diperlukan pengembangan fasilitas kesehatan yang mampu meningkatkan kapasitas pelayanan sekaligus menerapkan prinsip keberlanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang ulang Klinik Politeknik Penerbangan Makassar dengan menerapkan konsep bangunan hemat energi melalui penggunaan solar thermal cooling system, serta mengoptimalkan tata letak ruang, pencahayaan, dan penghawaan bangunan. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan meliputi analisis kondisi eksisting, analisis kebutuhan ruang, analisis iklim dan tapak, serta penerapan strategi desain pasif dan aktif yang mendukung efisiensi energi. Konsep massa bangunan dirancang sederhana dan fungsional dengan penataan ruang yang memudahkan akses, khususnya bagi pasien dalam kondisi darurat, serta mendukung kenyamanan pengguna. Hasil perancangan diharapkan menghasilkan desain klinik yang lebih hemat energi, menurunkan konsumsi listrik sistem pendinginan, serta mendukung pengembangan fasilitas kesehatan tingkat lanjut yang berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Maros. Ongoing global warming drives the need to implement energy-efficient building concepts, particularly in healthcare facilities that operate almost around the clock and consume high amounts of energy. Clinics generally require large amounts of energy for air conditioning systems, which not only impacts operational costs but also contributes to increased carbon emissions. Klinik Politeknik Penerbangan Makassar is one of the health facilities in Maros Regency that has a quite high operational energy consumption, especially in the use of conventional air conditioning systems. On the other hand, Maros Regency still faces limitations in Advanced Health Facilities (FKTL), so it is necessary to develop health facilities that can increase service capacity while applying the principles of sustainability. This study aims to redesign the clinic by applying energy-efficient building concepts through the use of a solar thermal cooling system, as well as optimizing the layout, lighting, and airflow in the building. The methods applied in the design include the analysis of existing conditions, space requirements, climate and site analysis, and the implementation of passive and active design strategies that support energy efficiency. The building mass concept is designed simply and functionally with a spatial arrangement that allows easy access, especially for patients in emergency conditions, and supports users' comfort. The design is expected to result in a more energy-efficient design for the clinic, reduce the electricity consumption of the cooling system, and support the further development of sustainable advanced health facilities in Maros Regency.
