Puisi-puisi Abu Nawas dalam Kumpulan Puisi Abu Nawas (Studi Analitis Rima) = The Poetry of Wine in the Diwan of Abu Nawas (An Analytical Study of Rhyme)

This study examines the analysis of qafiyah (rhyme) in khamriyyat-themed poems written by the classical Arab poet Abu Nawas. The main focus of this research is to identify the position, type, letters, vowel marks (harakat), and defects (‘aib) of qafiyah in selected verses. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collection techniques including observation, reading, and note-taking of verses from several poems such as Ka’sun Salwah, Qissah Nadman, Aninal Khamar, Andha’i Ka’sin, among others. The findings reveal a variety of qafiyah forms, including partial-word qafiyah, single-word qafiyah, two-word qafiyah, and combinations of single words and partial words. Additionally, various types of qafiyah based on vowel marks were identified, such as mutakawis, mutarakib, mutadarik, mutawatir, and mutaradif, along with other qafiyah components including rawiy, ridf, washal, khuruj, ta’sis, and dakhil. This research is expected to serve as a reference for further studies in qawafi and contribute to the preservation and appreciation of the aesthetic values in classical Arabic poetry.
