Abstract (Abstrak)

This study examines the effect of locus of control and affective commitment on performance. The purpose of this study is to find empirical evidence regarding whether or not a) there is a positive and significant effect of locus of control on performance, b) a positive and significant effect of affective commitment on performance, and c) a more dominant influence between locus of control and affective commitment variables on employee performance. Respondents in this study were employees at PT Bosowa Propertindo. Data collection used direct questionnaire distribution. Data were analyzed using multiple liner regression analysis. The results of this study obtained that there is a positive and significant effect of locus of control on performance, there is a positive and significant effect of affective commitment on performance, and locus of control has a more dominant influence on employee performance than affcetive commitment.
