Background. Indonesia faces a serious health problem with under-five stunting, particularly in rural areas like Buntu Batu Sub-district and Enrekang District. Personal hygiene, latrine conditions, helminthiasis infection, and drinking water quality are all linked to stunting. Aim. This study aims to determine the relationship between sanitation, personal hygiene, and helminthiasis infection with the incidence of stunting in toddlers in Buntu Batu Subdistrict, Enrekang Regency. Method. This study was an observational analytic with a cross sectional approach. Moms of young children in three villages within the Buntu Batu Subdistrict comprised the study group. A random sampling technique was employed to choose a sample of 100 participantshe research was conducted in June-July 2023. Data analysis included univariate, bivariate (Chi Square test), and multivariate (logistic regression test). Results. Drinking water facilities (p=0.05, OR=2.49), latrine condition (p=0.00, OR=4.55), and helminthiasis infection (p=0.00, OR=4.82) were significantly associated with stunting. Clean water facilities (p=0.55, OR=1.44) and hand washing with soap (p=0.63, OR=1.34) were not significant. Helminth infection was the dominant factor causing stunting (p=0.00, OR=7.15). Conclusion. Drinking water sanitation, latrine condition, and helminthiasis infection have a significant association with stunting, with helminthiasis infection as the dominant factor in Buntu Batu sub-district, Enrekang district.
