Competitiveness is one indicator to measure export success. This study aims to determine the level of competitiveness comparatively and the factors that affect the export of South Sulawesi coffee beans. Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) is used to determine the level of competitiveness of South Sulawesi coffee exports. Regression analysis with the Error Correction Model (ECM) approach was used to determine the factors that affected South Sulawesi coffee bean exports, specifically production, land area, exchange rate, and export prices. The data used in this study is a time series from 2001 to 2020. This research shows that coffee exports from South Sulawesi have a comparative advantage with an average RCA value of 1.69 for 20 years. The regression results show that production has a significant and positive effect on export volume in the long and the short run, land area has a significant and negative affect on export volume in the long and the short run, and export prices have a significant and negative affect in the short run. Furthermore, the exchange rate does not have a significant effect to export volume in the long and the short run. All variables together affect export volume in the long and the short run.
