Abstract (Abstrak)
Yana Nuryanti. The Influence of Work Environment and Competency on Performance Through Work Motivation (Case Study at the Enrekang Regent's Office) Supervised by Nurdjanah Hamid and Fauziah Umar.
This research aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and competence on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable (Case Study at the Enrekang Regent's Office). The type of research used is explanatory research. The po pulation of this study was 96 permanent employees. Sampling used saturated sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The research results show that the work environment and competence have a positive and significant effect on work motivation. The work environment and competence have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The work environment and competence have a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work motivation at the Enrekang Regent's Office.
