Abstract (Abstrak)

ABSTRACT ANDI HENNI HANDAYANI. The Effect of Good Corporate Governance Implementation on Employee Performance with Work Motivation as anIntervening Variable in Makassar City Drinking Water Company (Mentored by Abd Rahman Kadir and Musran Munizu) This study aims to analyze Good Corporate Governance has anindirect influence on employee performance through Work Motivation in Makassar City Drinking Water Company. This study used a quantitative approach. The data used is primary data. A sample of 88 respondents. The respondent is a permanent employee of Perumda Air Minum Kota Makassar. Data collection was carried out through surveys using questionnaires distributed to respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis and path analysis with statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) version 25. The results showed that Good Corporate Governance has an indirect influenceon employee performance through Work Motivation as an Intervening Variable in Makassar City Drinking Water Company. This shows that when Good Corporate Governance is high followed by high Work Motivation, employee performance will increase and vice versa.
