Abstract (Abstrak)
Nutritional intake is one of the factors causing dysmenorrhea Objectives: This study aims to determine the content of protein, calcium, and iron in meatballs based on eel and soybean as an alternative for treating dysmenorrhea in early adulthood. Methods: This research is a descriptive study using laboratory analysis. The analytical method used is for protein analysis using the Kjeldahl method while for calcium and iron analysis using the AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer) method. The study was divided into preliminary research stages (making meatball products and testing the acceptability of the formula) and main research (analyzing the nutritional content of the selected formula). Results: The results showed that the nutritional content of the selected formula in one serving (185 grams) was 21.5 grams of protein, 25.4 mg of calcium and 0.77 mg of iron. Based on the research results, the protein content of meatballs based on eel and soybeans has met the SNI protein content standard, namely at least 7%. Conclusion: The product under study can meet the daily needs of women aged 19-29 years by 35% protein, 2.5% calcium and 4.3% iron.
