Abstract (Abstrak)
ABSTRACT
Andini Hayrunnisyah, Business Development Strategy Analysis of PT. KBN Prima Logistik (PT. KPL) Jakarta (supervised by Muhammad Ali dan Andi Aswan).
This study aims to analyze the business development strategy at PT. KBN Prima Logistik (PT. KPL) located in Jakarta by identifying external factors and internal factors that affect the company. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using case-study approach. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive analysis techniques with the use of the SWOT analysis method to determine the company's strategic position and the TOWS matrix to formulate strategies that available to be implemented. The research results show that: 1) The position of PT. KPL is in quadrant I so that the company can implement an aggressive strategy that is growth oriented strategy by utilizing the potential resources the company own; 2) the strategies that can be applied by companies determined as increasing investment in the development of company IT systems (WMS, ERP, and VMS), increasing partnerships and collaboration to expand the market, and also for parent company increasing the provision of autonomy in determining policies need to be consider as a strategy for PT. KPL improvement in business.
