Bentuk dan Ragam Hias Nisan pada Kompleks Makam Datu Kalibong Kecamatan Sibulue Kabupaten Bone

This study aims to determine the influence of culture, both local culture and Islamic culture through the shape and decoration of the headstones of the Datu Kalibong Tomb Complex, Sibulue District, Bone Regency. The problem posed is how the shape and decoration of the headstones are the Datu Kalibong Tomb Complex and what influences the shape and decoration of the headstones at the site.
This study used a qualitative method in the form of a description of the shape and decoration of the headstones at the Datu Kalibong Tomb Complex. The research method includes the stages of collecting data, processing data, and interpreting data.
As the results, indicate that the shape and decoration of the tombstones at the Datu Kalibong Tomb Complex are influenced by the presence of two cultures, the local culture which is marked by the use of the Bugis-Makassar type gravestone, as well as the decoration as outlined in the symbols has a certain meaning for the Bugis. External culture (Islam) is characterized by the use of decorative calligraphy. The diversity of forms and decorations of the tomb complex illustrates the harmonization of Islamic teachings with local culture in forming civilization in Kalibong
