Abstract (Abstrak)

Latar Belakang: Vaksinasi merupakan salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah untuk menurunkan angka kejadian COVID-19. Setiap daerah telah menghimbau bagi masyarakat untuk mengikuti proses vaksinasi. Sasaran utama vaksinasi salah satunya yakni kelompok khusus seperti lansia yang dinilai memiliki imunitas yang sudah berkurang, namun kondisi yang terjadi masih banyak lansia yang belum menerima vaksinasi COVID-19 dosis lengkap khususnya di Kabupaten Bone. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui persepsi lansia terhadap vaksinasi COVID-19 dan kesediaan lansia menerima vaksinasi COVID-19 di Kabupaten Bone.

Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi melalui teknik wawancara in-depth-interview. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 8 orang yang dipilih dengan cara snowball sampling.

Hasil: Hasil analisis dengan 5 tema yakni (1) adanya persepsi negatif lansia terhadap vaksinasi COVID-19, (2) adanya persepsi positif lansia terhadap vaksinasi COVID-19, (3) pemahaman lansia terhadap vaksinasi COVID-19, (5) kesediaan lansia menerima vaksinasi COVID-19 yang dapat mempengaruhi kondisi kesehatan, (6) motivasi keluarga mempengaruhi kesediaan lansia menerima vaksinasi COVID-19.

Kesimpulan: Persepsi lansia terhadap vaksinasi COVID-19, mayoritas memiliki pandangan negatif. Lansia berpendapat bahwa tujuan dilakukan vaksinasi COVID-19 adalah untuk mencegah terjangkit virus dan terbukti bermanfaat untuk menurunkan tingkat keparahan ketika terkena virus COVID-19, namun masih ada lansia yang menolak untuk divaksin karena khawatir mempengaruhi kondisi kesehatannya. Motivasi keluarga sangat mempengaruhi kesediaan lansia untuk mengikuti vaksinasi.

The participants in this study amounted to 8 people who were selected by snowball sampling. Results: The results of the analysis with 5 themes are (1) the negative perception of the elderly towards the COVID-19 vaccination, (2) the positive perception of the elderly towards the COVID-19 vaccination, (3) the elderly's understanding of the COVID-19 vaccination, (4) the willingness of the elderly to receive the COVID-19 vaccination because it affects health conditions, (5) family motivation affects the willingness of the elderly to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. Conclusion: The majority of elderly have a negative perception of the COVID-19 vaccination. The elderly believe that the purpose of the COVID-19 vaccination is to prevent the spread of virus and has been proven that it is useful for reducing the severity when exposed to the COVID-19 virus, but there are still elderly who refuse to be vaccinated because they are worried that it will affect their health condition.
