Hyaline membrane disease merupakan suatu penyakit yang sering menyebabkan gawat nafas pada bayi baru lahir dengan faktor resiko seperti prematuritas serta pada bayi yang dilahirkan oleh ibu penderita diabetes mellitus dengan faktor etiologi utama akibat defisiensi substansi surfaktan yang dapat menyebabkan kematian pada neonatus. Pencitraan radiologi merupakan salah satu alat diagnostik yang sangat membantu dalam menegakan diagnosis penyakit ini yaitu dengan melakukan pemeriksaan foto thorax dan USG thorax dan USG thorax hadir sebagai metode pencitraan tanpa radiasi dengan nilai sensitifitas dan spesifisitas yang tinggi dalam mendiagnosis penyakit ini.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kesesuaian antara foto thorax dan ultrasonografi thorax dengan gambaran klinis pada pasien Hyaline Membrane Disease.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan metode cross sectional yang dilaksanakan di bagian radiologi dan di Neonatal Intensive Care Unit RSUP Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar dengan waktu penelitian dilaksanakan mulai bulan Agustus 2021 sampai januari 2022. Didapatkan sampel sebanyak 38 pasien. Dan metode yang digunakan adalah uji Gamma.

Hasil menunjukan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara Down Score dan derajat foto thorax dengan derajat keeratan hubungan berada pada derajat sedang, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Down Score dengan derajat USG thorax dengan derajat keeratan hubungan sangat kuat dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara derajat foto thorax dan deraja USG thorax dengan derajat keeratan hubungan berada pada derajat sedang. Kesimpulannya adalah derajat HMD berdasarkan USG thorax berbanding lurus dengan gambaran klinis pasien dengan HMD dan derajat HMD berdasarkan foto thorax berbanding lurus dengan derajat HMD berdasarkan USG thorax.

Hyaline membrane disease is a disease that often causes respiratory distress in newborn with risk factors such as prematurity and in infants born to mothers with diabetes mellitus with the main etiologic factor due to surfactant substance deficiency which can cause death in neonates. Radiological imaging is one of the diagnostic tools that is very helpful in establishing the diagnosis of this disease, namely by conducting a chest radiograph and lung ultrasound and lung ultrasound is present as an imaging method without radiation with high sensitivity and specificity values in diagnosing this disease.

This study aims to determine the suitability between chest radiograph and lung ultrasound with clinical features in Hyaline Membrane Disease patients.

This research is an observational study with a cross sectional method which was carried out in the radiology department and in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar with the time of the study being carried out from August 2021 to January 2022. A sample of 38 patients was obtained. And the method used is the Gamma test.

The results showed that there was no significant relationship between Down Score and the degree of chest radiography with the degree of closeness of the relationship being at a moderate degree, there was a significant relationship between Down Score and the degree of lung ultrasound with a very strong degree of closeness of the relationship and there was a significant relationship between the degree of chest radiography and The degree of lung ultrasound with the degree of closeness of relationship was at a moderate degree. The conclusion is that the degree of HMD based on lung ultrasound is directly proportional to the clinical picture of patients with HMD and the degree of HMD based on chest radiographs is directly proportional to the degree of HMD based on lung ultrasound.
