Abstract (Abstrak)

ABSTRACT

Nurfadila, The Influence of Work Motivation and Stress on the Performance of Work From Home (WFH) Employees with Work Discipline as an Intervening Variable at the Hasanuddin University Administrative Bureau during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This study aims to determine how much motivation and work stress during WFH directly affect employee performance and indirectly influence the performance of administrative bureau employees through work discipline at Hasanuddin University Makassar.
This study uses a quantitative approach. The data used are primary data. The sample is 117 respondents. The respondent is an employee of the Hasanuddin University administration bureau. Data was collected through a survey using a questionnaire distributed to respondents using Path Analysis version 3.0.
The results showed that work motivation had a direct positive and significant effect on employee performance, and there was a positive and significant indirect effect between work motivation on employee performance which was intervened by the work discipline variable. Another thing happened to work stress which did not directly affect employee performance but had a positive and significant effect by being influenced by work discipline on employee performance. Work discipline has a direct and positive effect on employee performance.
