Abstract (Abstrak)

Latar Belakang Sistem instalasi hidroponik aliran fluida akan mengalami penurunan tekanan seiring dengan panjang pipa yang dilalui oleh aliran fluida tersebut. Dalam mekanika fluida penurunan tekanan tersebut dikarenakan fluida yang mengalir mengalami berbagai macam kerugian energi sepanjang aliran fluida.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui karakteristik hidrolik pada instalasi hidroponik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif dari hasil pengamatan. Adapun parameter yang diamati yaitu debit aliran, kemiringan garis energi, kehilangan energi dan kedalaman aliran pada pipa.Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh bahwa semakin besar kehilangan energi yang terjadi pada suatu instalasi hidroponik maka debit akan semakin kecil. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh panjang selang, semakin panjang selang pada instalasi hidroponik maka debit juga akan semakin kecil.

Background the hydroponics installation system of fluid flow will experience a decrease in pressure along with the length of the pipe passed by the fluid flow. In fluid mechanics the pressure drop is due to the flowing fluid experiencing various energy losses along the fluid flow. AimThis study is to determine the hydraulic characteristics of hydroponic installations. MethodThis study uses quantitative data from observations. The parameters observed are flow rate, energy line slope, energy loss and flow depth in the pipe. The results of the research show that the greater the energy loss that occurs in a hydroponic installation, the smaller the discharge. This is influenced by the length of the hose, the longer the hose in a hydroponic installation, the smaller the discharge. ResultsFrom the research, it was found that the greater the energy loss that occurs in a hydroponic installation, the smaller the discharge.
