ABSTRACT
Dwi Zulkarnain. The influence of individual characteristics and organizational characteristics on work motivation and employee performance at PT. South Sulawesi Bank. (Supervised by Mahlia Muis and Nuraeni Kadir)
This study aims to analyze the influence of individual characteristics and organizational characteristics in improving performance either directly or indirectly when work motivation is used as an intervening variable.
This type of research is quantitative research. In analyzing data, researchers collect, classify, analyze, and interpret data in order to provide a clear picture of the problem under study using SPSS software.
The results of the study found that individual and organizational characteristics directly had a significant positive effect on work motivation. The effect on performance shows that organizational characteristics directly have no significant effect on performance, but when mediated by work motivation, the effect becomes significant positive. Furthermore, organizational characteristics have a significant positive direct effect, as well as when mediated by work motivation.
