The Effect of Immersion of Heat Polymerization Acrylic Resin Plate in Granule Effervescent Denture Cleaner with Cocoa Pod Extract toward Transversal Strength

Objective: To find out the effect of immersion of heat polymerization acrylic resin plates in effervescent granule denture cleaner with cocoa pod extract toward transversal strength.
Method:The research used True experimental method by applying a post-test control group design and sampling technique through Purposive Sampling where total of sample is 15 in each treatment and it was divided into 3 groups (Effervescent Granule with cocoa pod extract, Effervescent Granule without cocoa pod extract and Aquades) with the concentration of 6.5%. This research utilized universal testing machine.
Results: Based on the results of the ANOVA test performed, it shows that P value is more than 0.05, it is 0.241. Conclusion: There is no effect of immersion of heat polymerization acrylic resin plate in effervescent granule denture cleaner with cocoa pod extract toward transversal strength.
