Abstract (Abstrak)

Employee performance at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Unhas is still low, this can be seen from the low quality and quantity of employee work. This study aimed to determine the performance of employees at the Faculty of Social and Political Science, Hasanuddin University. This study used qualitative research methods by utilizing descriptive data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, as well as documents and archives. The data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study indicated that employee performance at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Hasanuddin University Makassar is still not optimal by looking at six indicators namely, quality, quantity, timeliness, effectiveness, independence, and work commitment. In order to improve employee performance at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Hasanuddin University Makassar, education and training in accordance with the needs of the organization are required.
