TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN PENYAKIT HIPERTENSI PADA MASYARAKAT YANG MEROKOK DI DESA BANGGAE DUSUN BANGGAE KECAMATAN MANGARABOMBANG KABUPATEN TAKALAR

Hypertension is one of the most dangerous non-communicable diseases (PTM). Hypertension is a condition where there is an increase in systolic blood pressure that reaches more or equal to 140 mmHg and diastolic pressure that is more than 90 mmHg. Based on data from Riskesdas 2018, the prevalence of hypertension based on measurements in the population aged 18 years was 34.1%, the highest was in South Kalimantan (44.1%), while the lowest was in Papua (22.2%). The estimated number of hypertension cases in Indonesia is 63,309,620 people, while the death rate in Indonesia due to hypertension is 427,218 deaths. Therefore, researchers are interested in knowing the level of public knowledge about hypertension in people who smoke in the village of Banggae, Banggae hamlet, Mangarabombang district, Takalar Regency.In this literature, samples were taken using the purpose sampling method that had met the predetermined sample criteria, then a questionnaire was distributed to the sample to see how the level of knowledge of hypertension in people who smoked was.From the results of the study as many as 61 respondents there were as many as 33 respondents (54.1%) had a good level of knowledge, while as many as 28 respondents (45.9%) had a low level of knowledge.In this systematic study, we found that the level of knowledge about hypertension in people who smoked in the village of Banggae, Banggae hamlet, Mangarabombang sub-district, Takalar regency was good.
