Abstract (Abstrak)
SURYADI. Control and Monitoing system of Water Turbidity Level on
Filtration Tubs as Raw Material of Clean Water. (Supervised by Zulfajri B.
Hasanuddin and Rhiza S. Sadjad).
The aim of the research is to design a microcontroller which can
monitor the level of water turbidity and control valve.
Monitoring system and reins as an object of this research consist of
three basins, i.e. raw water basin, a tub of filtration, and a tub result of
filtration as samples. Monitoring system of water turbidity as raw
material of clean water uses a method design system. This design has
some general parts such as LDR sensor, ultrasonic distance sensor,
water flow sensor, and laser pointer. Electronic valve selenoid, arduino
uno, microcontroller, ATMega 328, PC/Laptop, power supply, driver
relay, ULN 2003, air ccompressor. LDR Sensor will detect water
turbiditity level. Menwhile the light for LDR is managed by laser printer.
Microcontroller ATMega 328 in arduino function as a place of processing
data from next sensor which will appear in PC/Laptop. Power supply
needed comes from a 12 volt adaptor which gets electrical inputs from
PLN net voltage. Driver relay ULN203 needed to move valve selenoid. A
compressor is needed for air pressure when washing sand in filtration in
designing a miniature system using language prorgramming C and
Borland Delphi 7 that function as interface.
The results of this research indicated that the data of water turbidity
proper use for need of clean water based on standard of the health
minister.
