Day Old Chick (DOC) Sales are a crucial component of the business continuity of a broiler chicken breeding company. PT. New Hope Indonesia Makassar Branch Breeding Farm and Hatchery Unit Malino, as a DOC breeding company, faces fluctuating sales conditions, necessitating an analysis of factors related to DOC sales. These factors consist of internal and external factors that are crucial in maintaining the sustainability of the company’s DOC sales. Objective. To analyze the internal and external factors of Day Old Chick (DOC) Sales at PT. New Hope Indonesia Makassar Branch Breeding Farm and Hatchery Unit Malino. Method. This method uses a descriptive qualitive approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, an documentation, involving the company and customers or business partners as research informant. Data analysis was conducted through data reductoin, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results. The study showed that internal factors related to DOC sales include DOC quality, price, distribution, and service. Good DOC quality, reasonable prices, smooth distribution, and good service sre considerations for customers when repurchasing DOC. Furthermore, external factors related to DOC sales include market demand, business competition, and costomer conditions. Fluctuation in market demand, the level of competition, and customer conditions are crucial for the sustainability of DOC sales at PT. New Hope Indonesia Makassar Branch Breeding Farm and Hatchery Unit Malino.
