ABSTRACT The influence of infrastructure, population size, and quality of human resources on local revenue through gross regional domestic product in South Sulawesi Province Ainunnisa Nurfatimah Hamka Madris Hamrullah This research aims to explain and analyze the influence of infrastructure on gross regional domestic product, the influence of population size on gross regional domestic product, the influence of the quality of human resources on gross regional domestic product, the influence of infrastructure on local revenue, the influence of population size on local revenue, the influence of the quality of human resources on local revenue, the influence of gross regional domestic product on local revenue, the influence of infrastructure on local revenue through gross regional domestic product, the influence of population size on local revenue through gross regional domestic product, and the influence of the quality of human resources on local revenue through gross regional domestic product. The design of this research is quantitative research using panel data consisting of time series data (from 2010 to 2024) in South Sulawesi Province. The analysis method used is multiple regression with the help of SPSS. The results of the research show that infrastructure simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on gross regional domestic product in South Sulawesi Province from 2010 to 2024. Population size simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on gross regional domestic product in South Sulawesi Province from 2010 to 2024. The quality of human resources simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on gross regional domestic product in South Sulawesi Province from 2010 to 2024. This indicates that the improvement of these three factors can drive the regional economy. Infrastructure, both directly and indirectly, does not have a significant effect on local revenue in South Sulawesi Province from 2010 to 2024. Population size, both directly and indirectly, does not have a significant effect on local revenue in South Sulawesi Province from 2010 to 2024. The quality of human resources, both directly and indirectly, does not have a significant effect on local revenue in South Sulawesi Province from 2010 to 2024. Although these three factors contribute to gross regional domestic product, their effects have not yet been able to significantly increase local revenue. Thus, gross regional domestic product does not mediate the relationship between infrastructure, population size, and the quality of human resources on local revenue. This indicates that these factors still need to be optimized through more directed regional development policies so that gross regional domestic product can contribute more significantly to the increase in local revenue.
