Aldilah Khaerana) In this research, the writer examines the construction of heroism in Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games trilogy through a structuralism approach, focusing on how narrative structures and character relationships shape the transformation of Katniss Everdeen. This research explores Katniss’s heroic identity by examining repeated narrative elements, contrasting symbols, and the roles of various characters that shape her portrayal as a hero. The writer uses the library research method to gather information from several sources, such as books, journals, articles, etc. The primary source of this research is taken from the trilogy novel The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins: The Hunger Games (2008), Catching Fire (2009), and Mockingjay. The writer finds that the heroism in the trilogy novel arise not only from individual growth of Katniss, but through a complex interchange of narrative structures and character interactions showing that heroism is not built by one person alone, but is shaped together with others through the structure of the story.
