Abstract (Abstrak)

Manokwari is one of the regions in Papua which has large quantities of limestone, which is found in Maruni village. To achieve the planned age of road pavement, it is necessary to have quality and quality of materials that meet the specified requirements. Vehicle loads that pass will cause tensile stress at the bottom to the middle of the layer of a road. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the value of indirect tensile strength and the lime content of Maruni as a filler in the HRS-WC mixed specimens undergoing long-term accelerated aging in the laboratory. This research is experimental in the laboratory. The research parameters are the use of Maruni limestone as much as 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the amount of rock ash filler. The optimum asphalt level was obtained at 6.50%. The results showed that the relationship of limestone content with the value of indirect tensile strength was Y0 days = -65,906.X2 + 337,57.X + 176,74; Y2 days = -69,571.X2 + 355,49.X + 236,27 and Y4 days = -90,476.X2 - 590,19.X + 1542. Where Y0 days = indirect tensile strength without aging process (× 10-3 MPa); Y2 days = indirect tensile strength with 2 days aging process (× 10-3 MPa); Y4 days = indirect tensile strength with 4 days aging process (× 10-3 MPa) and X = limestone content (%).
