Abstract (Abstrak)
NURFATMALA. The influence of production volume, selling price, and number of buyers on the sales volume of grading out (go) eggs at PT. New Hope Indonesia Branch Makassar (Supervised by Mutmainnah) Background. The sales volume of Grading Out (GO) eggs at PT. New Hope Indonesia Branch Makassar fluctuates from month to month. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the factors that influence sales volume, namely production volume, selling price, and number of buyers. This study aims to determine the effects of production volume (X₁), selling price (X₂), and number of buyers (X₃) on the sales volume of Grading Out (GO) eggs (Y), both partially and simultaneously. Methods. This study used a descriptive quantitative method with a case study approach using monthly secondary data from January to December 2025, consisting of 12 observations. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. Before conducting regression analysis, the model was tested using classical assumption tests, consisting of normality and multicollinearity tests. The analysis was then continued with the t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). Results. The results showed the regression equation Y = - 13,695.779 + 0.232X₁ + 0.449X₂-1,423.588X₃ + e. Partially, production volume had a positive and significant effect on sales volume, with a t-value of 8.146 and a significance value of <0.001. Selling price had a positive and significant effect, with a t-value of 14.197 and a significance value of <0.001. The number of buyers had a negative and significant effect, with a t-value of -4.373 and a significance value of 0.002. Simultaneously, production volume, selling price, and number of buyers had a significant effect on sales volume, with an F-value of 113.162, which was greater than the F-table value of 4.07, and a significance value of <0.001. The R Square value of 0.977 indicates that 97.7% of the variation in sales volume can be explained by production volume, selling price, and number of buyers, while the remaining 2.3% is explained by other factors outside the research model.
