Abstract (Abstrak)

Background: Landslides are a natural disaster that often occurs in Indonesia, particularly in areas with steep slopes and high rainfall. Bonto Lojong Village in Uluere District, Bantaeng Regency, exhibits these characteristics, yet there is no landslide susceptibility map for the area. Aim: To map the level of landslide susceptibility in Bonto Lojong Village, Uluere District, Bantaeng Regency, as a basis for disaster mitigation. Methods: Landslide susceptibility mapping was performed using the frequency ratio method, landslide inventory with Google Earth Pro, soil texture analysis using the hydrometer method, c-organic analysis using the Walkley and Black method, soil permeability using the constant head method, and bulk density using the gravimetric method. Results: Landslide susceptibility maps were divided into three classes of susceptibility, namely low, medium, and high, which were influenced by slopes > 45%, sandy clay texture, medium permeability (5,2-6,3) cm/jam, medium bulk density (1,20-1,34 g/cm³), and low c-organic (1,73-1,84%). The low-vulnerability class had an area of 684 ha in the western part of the study, the medium-vulnerability class had an area of 1,047 ha in the central-eastern part, and the high-vulnerability class had an area of 224 ha in the northern-southern part. There were 44 landslide occurrence points in Bonto Lojong Village, with 20 landslide occurrence points in the high vulnerability class, with variations in fr ranging from 1.0-12.28, the medium vulnerability class had 18 occurrence points, whereas in the low vulnerability class, there were six landslide points. Conclusions: Landslide vulnerability mapping using the frequency ratio method can produce maps with a good level of accuracy (AUC = 0.80). The resulting map can be used as a basis for disaster mitigation through the application of soil conservation technique
