Abstract (Abstrak)
This study aims to explain and describe the form of social construction of children contained in the novel Kita Pergi Hari Ini by Ziggy Zezsazeoviennazabrizkie and its relevance to reality. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data collection is done with the literature study method. The data presented in this study are data in the form of narratives, and dialogues that contain social construction of children contained in the novel Kita Pergi Hari Ini by Ziggy Zezsyazeoviennazabrizkie. By using the sociology of literature approach based on Swingewood's theory, the result of the research shows that there is a depiction of social construction contained in the novel Kita Pergi Hari Ini by Ziggy Zezsyazeoviennazabrizkie that is relevant to social reality, in the form of; social construction of children as a social burden and family burden, and social construction of children as objects.
