Abstract (Abstrak)

ABSTRACT MUHAMMAD RIFIAL. Evaluation of the Utilization of Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) at Madani Palu Hospital in 2024 (supervised by Prof. Dr. H. Amran Razak, SE., M.Sc and Prof. Dr. Darmawansyah, SE., MS). Background. Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) plays an important role in supporting optimal health services in hospitals. SIMRS enables efficient and appropriate information management, ranging from patient data to hospital administration. In RSUD Madani Palu, the implementation of SIMRS has been carried out, but there are still obstacles in operations and user satisfaction that need to be evaluated. Objective. This study aims to evaluate the utilization of SIMRS at Madani Palu Hospital in 2024, as well as analyze the influence of system usage, user satisfaction, information quality, and service quality on the net benefits of SIMRS. Methods. Logistic regression analysis and a cross-sectional study approach are used in this kind of quantitative research. All of the study's participants were Madani Palu Hospital staff members. 172 respondents who utilized the Slovin formula made up the sample used in this investigation. Results. The results of this study indicate that system usage (p = 0.007), user satisfaction (p = 0.003), information quality (p = 0.002), service quality (p = 0.006) are related to the utilization of SIMRS at Madani Palu Hospital. Based on Binary Logistic analysis, the strongest variable is System Usage (Sig = 0.006). Conclusion. This study shows that the use of SIMRS at Madani Palu Hospital provides significant benefits in terms of efficiency and effectiveness of hospital services. System usage is the most dominant factor in influencing SIMRS utilization, followed by user satisfaction, information quality, and service quality. It is recommended to continue improving the quality of system usage by providing continuous training for hospital staff. Keywords: SIMRS Utilization, Net Benefit, HOT-FIT, Hospital.
