DUKUN DAN POLITIK (POSISI DUKUN DALAM PILKADES 2019 DI DESA PASIR PUTIH KECAMATAN BOLA KABUPATEN WAJO) = SHAMANS AND POLITICS (POSITION OF SHAMAN IN THE 2019 PILKADES IN PASIR PUTIH VILLAGE, BOLA DISTRICT, WAJO REGENCY)

Penelitian in bertujuan mengungkapkan alasan-alasan di balik terlibatnya dukun dalam pemilihan kepala desa tahun 2019. Selain itu, isu posisi dukun dalam pemilihan desa dibahas dengan menggunakan konsep budaya politik milk Gabriel Almond dan Sidney Verba yang melihat bahwa bagaimana budaya politik di suatu daerah sehingga memberikan rang terhadap dukun untuk terus digunakan dalam setiap pemilihan kepala desa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Wawancara dilakukan kepada pihak-pihak yang dianggap paham terkait tema penelitian in. Jumlah informan yang diwawancarai sebanyak sebelas orang. Kajian ini mengandalkan data primer dan sekunder untuk temuannya. Untuk mengumpulkan informasi, digunakan karya tulis ilmiah seperti catatan harian, tesis, dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alasan dukun bisa terlibat dalam pemilihan kepala desa dilandasi beberapa hal, yaitu adanya kepercayaan masyarakat Desa Pasir Putih terhadap kekuatan mistis, adanya kepentingan calon kepala desa, dan orientasi afektif yang positif masyarakat terhadap kehadiran dukun. Adapun praktik keterlibatan dukun dalam Pilkades Desa Pasir Putih ditemukan dua aspek, yakni sebagai konsultan politik dan tim sukses calon kepala desa pada Pikades Desa Pasir Putih Tahun 2019 dan keterlibatan dukun sebagai mediator konflik dalam Pilkades Desa Pasir Putih Tahun 2019.

ABSTRACT
ANDI HUSNUL HATIMAH. Shaman and Politics: Shaman's Position in the 2019 Village Head Election (Pilkades) in Pasir Putih Village, Bola District, Wajo Regency (supervised by Sukri and Ariana Yunus)
This research aims to reveal the reasons behind the involvement of the shaman in the 2019 Village Head Election. In addition, the issue of the position of the shaman in village election is discussed in this paper. This research used Gabriel Almond and Sidney Verba's Political Culture Theory which shows how political culture exists in an area, so it provides space for the Shaman (Dukun) to continue to be used in every Village Head Election. This study used a qualitative method. The data were obtained through interview with parties who were considered to understand the theme of this research consisting of eleven informants. The study used both primary and secondary data. To collect information, the writer used scientific writing, such as thesis, diaries, and documents. The results of the study show that the reason for the shaman to involve in the Village Head Election is based on several things, i.e. the belief that the people of Pasir Putih Village have mystical powers, the interest of the candidate for village head, and the positive affective orientation of the community towards the presence of the shaman. The involvement of shaman in Village Head Election of Pasir Putih Village is in two aspects, namely a political consultant and success team for the candidates of Village Head in the 2019 Village Head Election of Pasir Putih Village and a conflict mediator in the 2019 Village Head Election of Pasir Putih Village.
