Analisis Swot Strategi Pengembangan Peternakan Sapi Bali Di Kabupaten Maros

This study was conducted in Maros Regency, South of Sulawesi. The aim of this study was formulate the alternative strategy in which suitable for development of breeding program of Bali cattle in Maros Regency. Observasion and interview were used in collection data. Questionnaire was used to the professional respondent such us representative academician, bureaucrat, industrialist and entrepreneur. Results of this study showed that alternative priority for breeding program strategy of Bali cattle in Kabupaten Maros were: 1). Develomplent of the center for Bali cattle farming to produce calf and development for fattening cenre in oreder to accommodate the calf through farmer group (score:1,3557), 2). Development for Bali cows livestock on the small scale basis by appliying technology and waste treatment (score: 0,9843), 3). Efficiency effort for Bali cattle with breeding management integrated with agriculture crop as feed sources and livestock feces as an organis fertilizer (Zero Waste) (score: 0,5442), 4). Increase the knowledge, ability of managerial, and technology through counseling activites, trainings, apprentice and studies related institutions (score: 0.4141).
