Abstract (Abstrak)

Objective: The purpose of this study was to identify the Determinants of Stunting in children
aged 25---60 months in Majene Regency. Method: This research applied observational analytic with cross sectional approach. The population is all children under five aged 25---60 months in Majene Regency with a total sample of 573 respondents, using cluster random sampling to select villages. Results: The results of bivariate analysis conducted by Chi square test statistical tests obtained that have a significant relationship with the incidence of stunting are age of eating fish, high maternal body and giving colostrum, namely p 0.05 (0.0001, 0.003 and 0.047). Conclusion: The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis concluded that the most
influential variable on the occurrence of stunting was the age at which fish began to eat.
