Abstract (Abstrak)
M. GUSLI USMAN E031171510 “Social Solidarity of the Vetsel Chess Club Community of Chess Lovers Makassar.” Supervised by Dr. Sakaria, S. Sos., M. Si saas supervisor one and Musrayani Usman, S.Sos., M.Si as supervisor two This research focuses on the description and form of social solidarity of the Vetsel Chess Lovers Community Chess Club Makassar. The theory used is Emile's theory of social solidarity Durkheim. The research method used is quantitative research with descriptive type. The strategy in the research that will be used is a census where information is collected from everyone in a population through questionnaires or a questionnaire containing questions regarding the issues raised in study. The number of samples used was 40 respondents. This research reveals that social solidarity in The Vetsel Chess Club Makassar Chess Lovers Community can be said to be strong. The majority of respondents agreed on the importance of assistance between members who are active in the organization solve problems together.. A high sense of brotherhood is reflected in support and attention between community members where this is considered important to create a strong sense of brotherhood in the community. Its creation a safe environment for each member is also considered as part of not separated from the strong social solidarity within this community. By Overall, members of Vetsel Chess Club Makassar show strong commitment high level of social solidarity in their life together. This study also identifies forms of community social solidarity such as engagement active in activities, collective awareness in facing shared situations, and interdependence between members in solving problems. All of that emphasizes the existence of strong solidarity, both in organic and social forms mechanic.
