Abstract (Abstrak)

Administratively, the study area is included in the area of Maros Regency, Pangkajene regency and Islands and Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province and coordinates 118°50'00" to 119°50'00" BT and 03°50'00" to 05°15'00" LS. The research with the title "Inventory of Geoheritage Potential in Barru Regency, Pangkajenne Regency and Islands, and Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province" with the intention of determining the geoheritage potential in the research area with the aim of inventorying geoheritage potential based on four factors, namely the value of science, the value of tourism, the value of education and the value of the risk of degradation.. From the results of the analysis carried out based on using the standards of invetarization of geological survey centers. Based on these factors, it was obtained based on scientific assessments showing that 11 geosites have high values, 9 geosites have medium values, and 13 geosites have low values, based on educational assessments show that 11 geosites have high values and 23 geosites have high values, based on tourism values, it shows that 9 sites have high values and 22 sites have medium values and 2 sites have low values, based on the evaluation of the individual degradation risk assessment shows that 2 geosites have a high value, 14 geosites have a medium value and 17 geosites have a low value.
