Abstract (Abstrak)
Palm sugar is a sweetener made from palm sap which comes from the male flower clusters of palm trees. Palm sugar is also widely used and managed by the community and has quite high economic value, especially for people who live around the forest. Labuaja Village is one of the villages that has the largest palm sugar producer in Cenrana District. Almost all of the people who live in Labuaja Village work as palm sugar farmers and have their own land. This study aims to calculate the income of palm sugar farmers in Labuaja Village, Cenrana District, Maros Regency. This research was conducted from April 2023 to May 2023 in Labuaja Village, precisely at the location of the palm sugar farmer’s land and the houses of residents who manage palm sugar in Labuaja Village, Cenrana District, Maros Regency. The data collected is in the form of primary data and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the average income received by palm sugar farmers is Rp.21.385.350 in a year with the highest income of Rp. 49.302.000 in a year and the lowest income od Rp. 8.992.000 in a year.
