Abstract (Abstrak)

Background : To find out the DVO measurement with digital photo analysis using Apikal foftware (vertical dimension application) and which can help measure DVO directly on the face Objectives:The application of digital technology in dentistry curricula has started globally and is reaching various levels of penetration depending on local resources and demand. One of the biggest challenges in digital education is the need to constantly adapt and adapt to technological developments and apply this to dental practice. Methods :sampling through the inclusion criteria which is a minimum loss of 6 months, after that patient data is collected by taking the vertical dimension measurement of the Willis break technique and after that it is reduced by 2-4 mm to get the vertical dimension of occlusion (DVO) and then taking digital photos using the apikal software application based on android using a smartphone.
The resultsThere is no difference in size values between the Willis technique and Android-based apical software. with a significant value >0.05(0.415*).
