Abstract (Abstrak)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis strategi peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik pada Perusahaan Umum Daerah (Perumda) Air Minum Wai Tipalayo Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik penelitian kualitatif deskriptif untuk memperoleh informasi secara menyeluruh. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi lapangan, dan studi pustaka terhadap dokumen yang relevan dengan penelitian.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik pada Perumda Air Minum Wai Tipalayo Kabupaten Polewali Mandar dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT adalah dengan strategi SO (Strength and Opportunities) yakni mempertahankan sarana prasarana yang memadai didukung dengan pembuatan sumur baru serta mengembangkan perusahaan melalui sistem pembayaran online, strategi WO (Weaknesses and Opportunities) dengan percepatan pembuatan sumur baru dan meningkatkan komunikasi kepada pelanggan terkait kepastian waktu perbaikan, strategi ST (Strength and Threats) yakni dengan meningkatkan penyampaian informasi melalui media sosial dan mengoptimalkan sarana prasarana, dan strategi WT (Weaknesses and Threats) yaitu menambah pegawai teknik di lapangan dan meningkatkan perluasan jaringan pipa air untuk memaksimalkan pendistribusian air.

This study aims to describe and analyze strategies to improve the quality of public services at the Regional Public Company (Perumda) Wai Tipalayo Drinking Water, Polewali Mandar Regency. This study uses descriptive qualitative research techniques to obtain overall information. The data used in this study were obtained through interviews, field observations, and literature study of documents relevant to the research.
The results of this study indicate that the strategy for improving the quality of public services at the Perumda Wai Tipalayo Polewali Mandar Regency using SWOT analysis is the SO strategy (Strength and Opportunities), namely maintaining adequate infrascructure facilities supported by making new wells and developing companies through online payment systems, WO strategy (Weaknesses and Opportunities) by accelerating the manufacture of new wells and improving communication to custimers regarding the certainty of repair time, the ST strategy (Strength and Threats) is to improve the delivery of information through social media and optimize infrastructure, and WT strategy (Weaknesses and Threats), namely adding engineering employees in the field and increasing the expansion of the water pipe network to maximize water distribution.
