GAMBARAN GEJALA CUSHING RESPONSE DAN TANDA HERNIASI PADA PASIEN HEMATOM EPIDURAL DI RSUP DR. WAHIDIN SUDIROHUSODO MAKASSAR PERIODE JANUARI-DESEMBER 2017

Background There are 1-5% of cases of epidural hematoma (EDH) in cases of
head trauma, as many as 10% of them are comatose. Although EDH is relatively
rare, it must always be considered in evaluating serious head trauma.
Objective The purpose of this study is to find out the description of cushing
response and signs of herniation in patients with epidural hematomas in RSUP Dr.
Wahidin Sudirohusodo Period January to December 2017.
Method This study used a research design of observational descriptive with a
retrospective approach. Observations were made on the medical record status of
patients with epidural hematomas. The study was conducted on 84 patients who
met the inclusion criteria at Dr. RSUP Wahidin Sudirohusodo Period January to
December 2017.
