Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi pengangguran di Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. variabel yang digunakan adalah variabel indeks pembangunan manusia, upah minimum provinsi, dan produk domestik regional bruto. Adapun data yang digunakan yaitu data time series dan cross section tahun 2015-2021 yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisi regresi data panel dengan menggunakan jumlah pengangguran sebagai variabel dependen dan variabel independen yaitu indeks pembangunan manusia, upah minimum provinsi, dan Produk domestik regional bruto. Hasil penelitian ini menukkan bahwa variabel indeks pembangunan manusia dan upah minimum tidak berpengaruh signifikan dan variabel produk domestik regional bruto berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap variabel dependen yaitu jumlah pengangguran.
This study aims to determine the factors that affect unemployment in West Sulawesi Province. The variable used is the human development index variable, the minimum wage of the province, and the gross regional domestic product. As for the data used, namely the time series data and cross section of 2015-2021 obtained from the West Sulawesi Province Statistics Center Agency. The method used is the panel data regression analysis method by using the number of unemployment as a dependent variable and an independent variable, namely the human development index, the minimum wage of the province, and the gross regional domestic product. The results of this study suggest that the human development index variable and minimum wage have no significant effect and the gross regional domestic product variable has a significant positive effect on the dependent variable, namely the number of unemployment.
