Analisis Efisiensi Pemanenan Hutan Jati Rakyat di Kabupaten Bone

The study is aimed to analyse efficiency of community teak forest harvesting Bone Regency. The was study on April-Mei 2009. Method used was descriptive one which was aimed to describe and clarify efficiency of community teak forest harvesting. Its quantitative approach was conducted by data recording and analysis of the study result such as diameter, hight, volume (actually, potential, waste), timber harvesting cost, etc. The study result showed that (1) technical efficiency of harvesting system of community teak forest will be obtained by combining some alternative in method or equipment on each harvesting stage, optimizing equipment usage, increasing skill of chainsaw operator and increasing wellbeing of operators and helpers.
