Abstract (Abstrak)

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui keanekaragaman arthropoda herbivora di pertanaman padi sawah organik dan padi sawah anorganik. Lahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian terdiri dari sawah organik dan sawah anorganik dengan luas masing-masing 25 m x 25 m. Pengambilan sampel arthropoda herbivora menggunakan sistem ubinan dengan perpotongan diagonal memakai sweep net (jaring serangga), pengamatan langsung (difoto), pit fall trap, dan perangkap kuning. Sampel arthropoda herbivora yang diperoleh dari pertanaman padi sawah organik dan anorganik dianalisis menggunakan indeks keanekaragaman ekosistem Shannon Wiener dan uji t berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keanekaragaman arthropoda tertinggi terdapat padi sawah anorganik, nilai keanekaragaman 1.71 dengan jumlah populasi arthropoda herbivora 391 ekor (51%). Padi sawah organik menunjukkan nilai indeks keanekaragaman 1.68 dengan jumlah populasi arthropoda herbivora 372 ekor (49%).
The aim of research is to know the biodiversity of herbivore arthropods in organic and inorganic rice planting. The places used in the research consisted of organic and inorganic rice field with measurement 25 m x 25 m. The methods of samples collected by ubinan system with diagonal intersection applied for sweep net, direct method (pictures), Pit fall trap and yellow trap. Herbivore arthropod samples collected from organic and inorganic rice planting analyzed used ecosystem biodiversity index by Shannon Wiener and Pair’s test analysis. The result of Shannon Wiener Index was showed the higher number of herbivore arthropods in the inorganic rice planting 1.71 and population of herbivore arthropods 391 individual (51%). In contrast, result of organic riceplanting 1.68 and population of herbivore arthropods 372 individual (49%).
