Abstract (Abstrak)

Tuberculosis (TB) is an epidemic that poses a threat to global health. Among all the countries that occupy the largest TB burden in the world, Indonesia currently shows a far higher TB burden, representing 20% of global cases. In response to this problem, USAID established the TB Challenge Program in handling TB cases worldwide, especially in Indonesia.

This study will describe how the effectiveness of the implementation of the TB Challenge Program in Indonesia as a form of United States foreign assistance in handling tuberculosis cases in Indonesia which was tested based on the principles of providing foreign aid GPEDC.

This research will be based on data from empirical reports through journals, books, theses and documents through a descriptive qualitative approach.

From the results of this study, it was found that there was a significant increase in the handling of TB cases in Indonesia through the USAID TB Challenge Program in 2014-2015 based on the effectiveness of assistance indicators set by the GPEDC.
