Abstract (Abstrak)

The study aims to analyze the effect of internal and external factors on net interest margin (NIM) in commercial banks in Indonesia. The study uses secondary data obtained from Bank Indonesia, World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF) and other sources. The data used is a time series data from 2012 to 2020 in Indonesia. The data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis method. Multiple linear regression is a linear regression model involving more than one independent variable.
The results show that the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) of Commercial Banks in Indonesia has no effect on the Net Interest Margin of Commercial Banks in Indonesia, Operational Cost on Operating Income (BOPO) of Commercial Banks in Indonesia have no effect on the Net Interest Margin of Commercial Banks in Indonesia , Indonesia's GDP Growth has a positive effect on the Net Interest Margin of Commercial Banks in Indonesia, Indonesian Inflation has a positive effect on the Net Interest Margin of Commercial Banks in Indonesia.
