EFEK FILTERISASI ARTEFAK PADA CITRA COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (CT) FANTOM KEPALA

This research has been conducted to analyze the effect of filtration artifacts on CT image phantom head. Filtering effect was analyzed by reviewing the quality, quantity of the CT image and the size of the seed geometry which can improve the accuracy of dosing calculations. By using the median filter was applied to the MATLAB program, the image of the head phantom CT Scan, CT Simulator and CBCT image phantom Catphan ® 600 will be processed and analyzed using
ImageJ program. The results showed that the quality of the image has been filtered declining, while the size of the seed being better. Therefore, it can be concluded that the median filter geometry suitable for seed size, but not for the quality of the image
