Abstract (Abstrak)

MUHAMMAD HIDAYAT DJABBARI, Public Private Partnership in Tourism Development in North Toraja Regency (guided by Alwi, and Suryadi Lambali)

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Public Private Partnership in tourism development in North Toraja Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques by interview, observation and documentation study. Data analysis using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.

The results showed that the implementation of public private partnership in tourism development in North Toraja Regency was carried out by making a cooperation agreement between the government and the private sector (owners of tourist objects) for the distribution of rights and obligations. The Life Cycle Contract (LCC) model in tourism development seen from the cooperation agreement shows the government's contribution as support and regulator in tourism development and development and the private sector as the owner / manager of a destination. Then, the successful implementation of public private partnerships, namely: equity, effectiveness, efficiency and exportability, shows good cooperation in implementing partnerships to develop tourism and get tourism fees. In general, the implementation of tourism development runs effectively and efficiently.
