Galur S01 Dengan Pemberian Tiga Jenis Pakan Murbei Morus spp. Di Kecamatan Donri-Donri Kabupaten Soppeng Sulawesi Sealatan = Quality Kokon SilkWorm Bombyx mori L. Penelitian tentang Mutu kokon ulat sutera Bombyx mori L. Galur S01 dengan pemberian tiga jenis pakan murbei morus spp. Telah dilaksanakan di Desa Tottong, kecamatan Donri-Donri Kabupaten Soppeng untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tiga jenis pakan murbei terhadap mutu kokon S01 Ulat sutera Bombyx morii L. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang disusun dalam rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), dengan menggunakan ulat sutera Bombyx mori L. galur S01 yang diperoleh dari BPA Bili-Bili, Perlakuan terdiri atas tiga jenis murbei yaitu Morus multicaulis, M. cathayana dan M. indica dengan tiga kali ulangan. Adapun parameter yang diamati sebagai indikator penelitian ini yaitu bobot kokon segar, bobot kulit kokon, presentase kulit kokon, bobot floss, presentase bobot flos terhadap kulit kokon dan presentase kokon cacat. Analisis data menggunakan Analysis of Variant (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur (Tuckey test) apabila terjadi perbedaan signifikan untuk mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelompokan kelas mutu kokon ulat sutera Bombyx mori L. yang diberi tiga jenis pakan murbei berada pada kelas B yang artinya memiliki mutu kokon yang baik. Dengan nilai berturut-turut yaitu M.cathayana memiliki bobot kokon sebesar 8,98 gram, Morus multicaulis memiliki bobot kokon sebesar 8,87 gram dan Morus indica memiliki bobot kokon sebesar 8,65 gram, sedangkan untuk parameter kokon cacat menunjukkan bahwa kokon ulat sutera Bombyx mori L. yang diberi tiga jenis pakan murbei berada pada kelas C yang artinya memiliki mutu kokon yang kurang baik. Dengan angka presentase kokon cacat yaitu dengan pakan Morus multicaulis sebesar 19,96 %, M.cathayana sebesar 37,46% dan Morus indica sebesar 47,56 %.

Research on the quality of Bombyx mori L. Galur silkworm cocoons by presenting three types of mulberry morus spp. It has been carried out in Tottong Village, Donri-Donri District, Soppeng Regency, South Sulawesi, the supervisor for the effect of providing three types of mulberry feed on the quality of the S01 cocoon Bombyx morii L. This research is an experimental study arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD), using the silkworm Bombyx mori L. strain S01 obtained from BPA Bili-Bili. The treatment consists of three types of mulberry, namely Morus multicaulis, M. cathayana and M. indica. with three repetitions. The parameters observed as indicators of this study were fresh cocoon weight, cocoon shell weight, cocoon shell percentage, thread weight, cocoon shell floss weight percentage and deformed cocoon weight percentage. Data analysis used Analysis of Variant (ANOVA) and analysis with Honest Significant Difference test (Tuckey test) significant presence to see the effect of each treatment. The results showed that the classification of the quality class of Bombyx mori L. silkworm cocoons which were given three types of mulberry feed was in class B, which means that it had good cocoon quality. With successive values, M.cathayana has a cocoon weight of 8.98 grams, Morus multicaulis has a cocoon weight of 8.87 grams and Morus indica has a cocoon weight of 8.65 grams, while for defective cocoon parameters it shows that silkworm cocoons Bombyx mori L. which was given three types of mulberry feed was in class C which means it has poor quality cocoons. With the percentage number of defective cocoons, namely the Morus multicaulis feed was 19.96%, M.cathayana was 37.46% and Morus indica was 47.56%.
