Abstract (Abstrak)

The CoronaVac vaccine efficacy has been disecrepant across studies, and concerns regarding the incidence of breakthrough is inevitable. Here, we report a case of subsequent COVID-19 breakthrough infection in a 41-year old female healthcare worker despite receiving full vaccinations 40 days prior. In this case, a low antibody titer of 3.469 AU/mL was observed following the full vaccination, which only increased to 130 AU/mL after resolve of the infection. This suggests that breakthrough infection post- vaccination may be due to lack of induced immune response or sunsequent infection with a movel variant.
